Team DJ Checklist…
Getting Intros Ready for the Season

Planning Ahead with BallparkDJ can make things fun, easy, and low-stress!

While it is certainly possible to get your team setup in BallparkDJ with professional voicing and music in a single day, we recommend giving yourself more time for contingencies such as correcting mispronounced names, selecting and setting up music, choosing announcer and voice format, speaker selection and testing, and more. As soon as the line-up is set and the players numbers are assigned, you are ready to get started in BallparkDJ. The checklist below is a good guideline for setup of your Professional Intros in BallparkDJ, and should help ensure you are ready to roll on opening day.

BallparkDJ Team DJ Checklist…

  1. Identify a Team DJ - Operating BallparkDJ is fun and easy, so this step should not be too challenging. Hopefully there is already a BallparkDJ enthusiast in your team of parents and siblings that would love to fill this role of Team DJ. If not, send out an email and let them know how much fun they’ll have and someone will step right up. You can even reward your Team DJ with a custom BallparkDJ Jersey!

  2. Watch Instructional Videos - If you are new to BallparkDJ, you’ll want to start by watching the Instructional Videos on Getting Started, Ordering Professional Voicing, and Setting Up Music. These are short videos that will tell you all you need to know.

  3. Pronunciations and Numbers - Before you order, you’ll need to make sure you know the players jersey numbers, and you know how to pronounce each players name. If you are unsure, please ask the coach, player, or parent. You can even submit your order at a practice where you can ask about pronunciations as you get to each kid. Once you have all the numbers and pronunciations, this video will guide you through creating your first team in BallparkDJ.

  4. Standard Intros, or SuperVoice? - You’ll need to decide if you want order Standard Intros (Now Batting, #17, Jordan Payne) or SuperVoice (complete with Pre-Game Intros). Watch this video so you understand what SuperVoice brings to the table.

  5. Choose a Professional Announcer - Visit this page to learn more about our Professional Announcers and to hear samples of each of their voices. Once you’ve decided on your order type and announcer, this video will guide you through ordering professional voicing.

  6. Song Selection - Most teams allow each player to select their own song, or work with their parents to help select their song (keeping it clean of course). You can send out an email to the team and ask them to provide their song selection, along with the offset into the song that they’d like you to start the song. You might even consider asking for a 2nd choice in case someone has already taken their top choice. You can begin working on music while your order for professional voicing is outstanding without causing any problems, just be careful with sharing your team with others while the order is outstanding as that can cause problems.

  7. Speaker Selection - You will need a Bluetooth Speaker. There are may great choices out there. Hopefully you already have a favorite speaker in house that is ready to go. If not, you’ll need to see if any coaches or other parents have one you can use, or you’ll need to do some speaker shopping.

  8. Testing - This is the fun part! After everything is setup and ready to go, you’ll want to do some testing prior to your first game to make sure everything works seamless with your combination of device, voice, music, and speaker. If you run into any problems during testing, review this page on Music Solutions. If you continue to have any issues after that, please contact support@ballparkdj.com and we’ll work with you to resolve the issue.
