BallparkDJ Team DJ Checklist…
Choose Your Team DJ - Pick the parent, coach, sibling, or team volunteer who will run BallparkDJ on game day. It's easy to operate, and being Team DJ is one of the most fun jobs at the ballpark.
Watch Instructional Videos - New to BallparkDJ? Spend a few minutes with our Instructional Videos on Getting Started, Ordering Professional Voicing, and Setting Up Music. They'll walk you through everything you need to know before game day.
Create or Import Your Team - Once you have your roster and jersey numbers, create your team in BallparkDJ. Enter players manually or save time by importing your roster from a photo, screenshot, PDF, file, or GameChanger Lineup PDF.
Quick tip: Automated imports can occasionally make a mistake, so give names and numbers a quick review after importing.Confirm Names, Numbers & Pronunciations - Before ordering professional voicing, confirm every player's jersey number and pronunciation. If you're unsure about a name, ask the player, parent, or coach. Getting pronunciations right before ordering can save time later. Once you have all the numbers and pronunciations, this video will guide you through creating your first team in BallparkDJ.
Choose Standard Intros or SuperVoice - Decide which experience you want. Standard Intros give you classic player announcements such as “Now batting, number 17, Jordan Payne.” SuperVoice takes things further with additional professional voicing, including pre-game team introductions. Learn more about SuperVoice and decide which option is right for your team.
Choose Your Professional Announcer - Listen to samples from our professional announcers and choose the voice that fits your team. Once you’ve chosen your announcer and intro type, you’re ready to place your order. Watch this short video to see how easy it is to order professional voicing.
Choose Your Walk-Up Music - This is where the players get involved! Most teams let each player choose their own walk-up song or work with a parent to pick one. Ask each player for their song choice and, if they have one, the point in the song where they’d like it to start. You might also ask for a second choice in case two players pick the same song. You can start setting up music while your professional voicing order is being completed. Learn more about setting up music in BallparkDJ.
Choose Your Speaker & Run a Game-Day Test - Connect BallparkDJ to the Bluetooth speaker you’ll use at the field and run through several players exactly as you would during a game. Check your voice and music volume, song starting points, and Bluetooth connection. It’s much better to discover an issue at home than when your first batter is walking to the plate!
