What is SuperVoice?
SuperVoice allows for multiple voice components to be combined into one. Prior to SuperVoice, each player had a single voice component. Now SuperVoice allows up to 4 different voice components to be fused together into one with customized overlap. For instance “Touchdown” “Number 22 Jordan Jones” “Go Bears”. This SuperVoice can then be combined with music just as standard voice can.
What is SuperVoice Wizard?
SuperVoice Wizard enables the easy creation of SuperVoice teams by combining a player with another team, or a team with another team. For instance, combined the voicing “Touchdown” with each player on your “Cambridge Bears” team to result in a SuperVoice “Touchdown - Cambridge Bears” team that calls the touchdown action for each player on the team. Or combine the “Football Events” team (of 10) with the “Cambridge Bears” team (of 12) to 22 SuperVoice teams, one for each event (combining event with every player) and one for each player (with all events or that player).
How can this benefit me?
SuperVoice not only enhances the baseball and softball intros, but really opens up BallparkDJ to team sports other than baseball and softball by combining the most common actions or events in that sport with each players name and number in a variety of ways. By choosing the SuperVoice option on the order page, you will end up with announcements for the most common actions for your sport for every player. As an example, if you choose to order Football SuperVoice for your football team of 12 players (Cambridge Bears), you will end up 25 teams: Your master team (with just name and number), one team for each of the 12 football actions (with each player combined with that action), and one team for each of the 12 players (announcing that player with all 12 actions). You’ll have a team called “Interception - Cambridge Bears” that announces “Interception” followed by name and number of all 12 players on your team. You’ll have a team called “22 Jordan Jones” that announces Jordan performing every football action (Touchdown, Interception, Tackle for Loss, etc). A total of 23 teams that provide all combinations to announce your football teams accomplishments each player.
How can I navigate quickly to proper team?
You can switch between teams quickly and sequentially by simply swiping the team name at the top either left (to switch to prior team) or right (to switch to next team). But there is an easier way than that! If you open up your master team which contains each player, simply swipe right on any name and it will open up that players team which lists all actions for that player. To quickly switch back to the master team, just swipe right again on any player. Similarly, if you have the Events team open (for instance “Baseball Events”) and you swipe right on any action, it will open up that event’s team (combining that event with each of the players on team). To switch back master Events team, you can again swipe right on any player on the team.
How can I sort my team numerically or alphabetically?
The Actions > Advanced menu now has an option to Sort Team, which in turn provides option to sort team numerically (lower numbers at top) or alphabetically (by first name). We understand the importance of speed and timing, and this feature combined with the quick navigation feature listed above allow the user to quickly find the player / event combination needed for any game situation.
How can I apply the same song to all the players on my team?
Now that SuperVoice has produced a team for each player (which provides all Events for that player), many users will want to apply that players song to each event. Simply apply the song to the first player on the team, including desired starting position, duration, and overlap with voice. Then choose Actions > Advanced > Apply Song To All and the song applied to the first player will be applied to all players, including the start position, duration, and overlap with voice. The same process can be applied if a user wants to apply the same song to any Event team (for instance, use same song for Touchdown for all players).
How can I share my SuperVoice teams with another parent or coach?
You may share the link you received from BallparkDJ after your team was professionally voiced. However, that will not result in the other user getting any changes you may have made such as added music, adjusting overlap, etc. In order to share your changes, choose Actions > Advanced > Share Multiple Teams and choose the teams you wish to share. That will compose an email which you can send to the other parent or coach which contains link(s) to import the shared teams.
The Event and the Players name/number are too close (or too far apart). How can I fix?
Simply click on the icons to the right of the player you’d like to edit, then click on the Edit button to the right of SuperVoice. Here, you will be able to drag the sliders to adjust the overlap/separation between Event and Number/Name just like you want it.
How can I put the special effects sounds before my SuperVoice announcements?
Import the Special Effects team. Then go in and edit the SuperVoice by clicking on the icons to the right of the player you’d like to edit, then click on the Edit button to the right of SuperVoice. Click on the Add Players button at bottom right and then locate the Special Effects team, and then the Special Effect you’d like to add. You may then drag the thumbs to the right of each voice component to place the Special Effect first (at top). Then edit to get the desired overlap between all three components. To edit the overlap between 1st and 2nd voice component, click on the 1st component. To edit the overlap between the 2nd and 3rd component, click on the 3rd component.
One of my names was mispronounced (or the number is wrong). How can I fix?
No problem. Just open the master team, and use your voice to record the proper pronunciation of the name(s). Then choose Actions > Request Voice Redo and choose only the player(s) that need to be redone. You’ll get the fixed team back within 24 hours and that correction will permeate to all teams that involve that players name.
We added new player(s) to the team. How can I add them?
No problem. Just open the master team and add the players to the team, and use your voice to record the proper pronunciation of the name(s). Then choose Actions > Order Pro Voicing > Some Players and choose only the player(s) that need to be added. You’ll get the new players introductions back within 24 hours and those new players will permeate to all SuperVoice teams that involve them. And a team will be created for these new players (combined with all of their possible Actions/Events).
