Music Wizard
Music Wizard makes music setup and selection a breeze, by linking the music setup process with our monthly Top 500 Songs list. This feature is especially valuable for iOS users with Apple Music. This new feature is a complete gamechanger for music setup and selection.
The Music Wizard can be found in the Edit Music screen, and provides the following options: Random Top Song, Top Songs, Match Player, Match Team, and Random All Players. These options are intended to facilitate music setup for a variety of situations.
The Top Songs are pulled from the monthly list we create which reflects the top walk-up songs of both baseball and softball players. You can learn more about this list by visiting our Top Songs page.
Random Top Song - Grabs a random song from our list of Top Songs. For softball, it will pull from our top songs from girls softball. For all other sports, it will pull from our list of top walk-up songs for baseball. You will be presented with an option to pull the songs from the Top 10, Top 20, Top 50, Top 100, Top 200, or Top 500. Once you’ve selected this option once, you can simply swipe right on the Music Wizard button and it will repeat this action of randomly picking a song from the top list you previously selected. So if you choose “Random Top Song - Top 50”, each time you swipe right on Music Wizard after that, it will pick another random song from the Top 50. Not only does it select the popular songs for you, but it automatically sets up those songs to start at the most common offset into the song.
Top Songs - Presents a list of the Top 500 Songs and allows you to select any song from the list. Again, the selected song will automatically be setup with the most common start time. No need to waste time searching for that optimal starting offset.
Match Player - Allows you to select any other player (that is setup with music) and it will duplicate the music setup of that player, complete with start time, duration, and overlap with voice.
Match Team - Allows you to select another team, and match the music setup of each player (complete with start time, duration, and overlap with voice). This works with teams with matching players. It will match up the music for players with matching numbers and names. This typically results from Duplicate Team, or from creating Event Only teams using from Duplicate Team on gold teams.
Random All Players - Applies the Random Top Song action to all players on the team. This will replace the music of all players on the team with a random song form the top songs list. This action cannot be undone so consider duplicating your team with Actions > Duplicate Team before applying this
