Long Read Order Type

More on: Order Types

The Order Page now provides a Long Read option for Order Type, in addition to Standard, SuperVoice, and Pregame. The Long Read order type should be used for longer / customized reads that do not fit the standard single player introduction format. Long Read orders are priced at $0.05 per character, with a minimum price of $8.00.

Below is a Long Read sample voiced by Michael Araujo that combines an event welcome/intro with the sportsmanship statement along with other relevant event info.

A Long Read Order Type might be used for…

  • Sportsmanship Statements

  • Senior Night Recognition Reads

  • Welcome Introduction for a Tournament, League, or Event

  • Informational Announcements for a Tournament, League, or Event

  • Coaches Introductions

  • Custom Team Introductions

Long Reads should NOT be used for….

Single Player Orders Only - Long Read orders are only available on single player orders. This is to allow the user to type the full script of the long read into the Special Instructions box. The Long Read order type will not be available if the order was placed for 2 or more players.
Casey LEGACY Not Available - The Long Read order type is not available for the Casey LEGACY. You must choose an announcer other than Casey in order for the Long Read order type to be available.
Provide Pronunciations Via Voice - If there are any words, such as team names, senior name, or cities, in the script, that is difficult to pronounce, please voice those name(s) when given the opportunity to voice during the order process.
Have Script Prepared - Please make sure you have the script fully prepared before submitting the order. You’ll probably want to just copy and paste it from the document or email you prepared, into the Special Instructions box on the Order Page.
Special Instructions for Announcer - Since the Special Instructions box is used to provide the script for the Long Read, if you have any Special Instructions you need to communicate to the announcer, please put those in parenthesis at the very top of the Special Instructions, and before the script, as seen below.
