Remembering Casey Motter….
Remembering Casey Motter
This month, we pause to honor the life and legacy of Casey Motter — the original voice of BallparkDJ and the heartbeat behind the sound so many families know and love. Four years after his passing, his unmistakable welcome still echoes across youth ballparks nationwide through Casey Legacy.
Casey wasn’t just our first announcer; he helped define who we are. He was full of life — the fun-loving guy who used his booming announcer voice at drive‑thrus, belted out “Candle in the Wind” at karaoke, and blasted KISS in the car. Nothing made him happier than announcing for kids. They lined up at the press box for autographs, and he loved giving them the same thrill he remembered from hearing his own name called as a young player.
We remain grateful for his talent, his friendship, and the mark he left on the BallparkDJ community. His spirit lives on in those who knew him, and his voice continues to inspire every young athlete stepping up to the plate.
We miss you, Casey, but we still hear you.
Introducing Epidemic Sound
BallparkDJ now includes full integration with Epidemic Sound, giving every user instant access to a massive library of high‑energy, fully licensed music for walk‑ups and videos. With smart discovery tools like Top Songs, Match Popular Tracks, playlists, moods, and full search, finding the perfect track is faster and more intuitive than ever.
Every song is PRO‑cleared and royalty‑free, and all music transfers seamlessly when sharing teams. Epidemic tracks can also be used in Player and Team Videos with full social‑media coverage under our blanket license — giving your players a professional, big‑league sound everywhere their videos are shared.
It’s the cleanest, easiest, most reliable music experience we’ve ever offered.
Mother’s Day Fun - In Review
This Mother’s Day brought back one of our favorite BallparkDJ traditions: moms taking over the walk‑up songs and surprising their boys with some truly unforgettable choices. From “Pretty Girls Walk” to “Barbie Girl,” “Girl on Fire,” “Milkshake,” and even “Baby Shark,” moms across the country had a blast picking playful, girly, and downright hilarious tracks to celebrate their day in style.
We pulled together the definitive list of the top songs moms used inside BallparkDJ this year — complete with preferred start times — and even created importable teams so you can sample the full lineup. It’s one of the most fun collections we release all year, and once again, the moms absolutely delivered.
June Spotlight: Gianni Molfese
Rising Above the Rest
This month we’re tipping our caps to #1 Gianni Molfese, a standout talent from Fort Worth, Texas. Gianni dominates at shortstop and on the mound — and now he’s dominating online too. His @BaseBroz social channels recently surged past 1.2 million followers, making him one of the most visible young athletes in the country.
Gianni plays for Elevate National, which continues to hold the #1 national ranking, and he brings relentless effort and leadership that inspire players everywhere. His rise hasn’t gone unnoticed: Gianni has earned sponsorships from Under Armour, Franklin, Axe, and Provelocity, and he’ll appear in a national Under Armour ad this July. His first Axe signature bat sold out in just two weeks, with his second signature model dropping this fall.
Give it up for Gianni — and let’s go, Elevate.
Thanks for being part of the BallparkDJ community — we’ll see you at the ballpark.
